Sadly I have to say that there's still a long way for Singapore to reach her ideal state of respectful concert etiquette...
Personally I my favourites are Hana and The Phantom Waltz, other than the walking on stage and the 'dancing' which were pretty distracting. Very good blending and the peaks in their dynamics were just perfect and magically. You know, when the choir slur up their notes it's so clean and light that you just want to float up from your seats lol.
After the performance met up with Dora to give her the Tigger that she hugged to sleep =) Actually I kind of demanded her to hug it to sleep because I chiong-ed to buy it!! Haha.
Yesterday was Strings From The Silver Screen and I was hoping that we won't break down at the tempo changes like we always did during rehearsals. Luckily we didn't and a lot of the audience thought the concert was good (although the wind players made quite a lot of mistakes). Maybe because they could relate to the pieces we performed.
Took a bit of photos here and there after concert before going to Parkway for supper with the bandits.
Dora was so hyped up that she can hold my clarinet -_-
And Dora's friend whom I don't know LOL. She wanted to take picture with me because she thinks my conducting is nice. Hehe thanks thanks xD
And today.. I just slacked the whole day since 11am =( Bad bad bad... YouTube-ing all the time. You know, I will never get tired listening to this. It's just so amazing.
Tchaikovsky's Overture 1812
I NEED TO START FOCUSING!
